What is a typical Sunday worship service like?

Our service begins at 10:30 AM but a lot of us like to come early for the fellowship ( and perhaps some coffee and pastries in the kitchen).  At 10:30 we enter into lively contemporary worship led by Jim Clendenen, our gifted multi-instrumental worship leader and his team.

Immediately following worship we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  We do this every Sunday, and communion is open to all who profess faith in Christ as Savior.  You will have a choice of receiving either juice and a wafer or bread and wine.

Following communion and prayer, we focus on the word of God.  Our Pastor, Mark Taylor, leads us to look deeply into the word and find application for our lives.  Mark brings a diverse ministry experience from campus pastor to serving among multinational groups, to men’s discipleship.  He has strong gifts in communication, discipleship, and shepherding.

Either during the worship service or immediately following, there are opportunities to receive prayer for healing or other personal needs from trained prayer team members.

How About My Kids?

We dismiss our children ages 5-11 after our time of worship and communion to go to the children's room that is next to the sanctuary.  There we will have a specially designed lesson and activities that will engage the hearts of our children to love Jesus more and to know His word.

Mothers with babies will be able to find changing tables both in the women's bathroom and directly inside the pre-school room. Extra supplies are provided as needed.  Children are invited to play in our fenced in playground before and after service.  Baby swings are included along with regular swings.

Are there other opportunities to meet?

Absolutely!  We have a worship service every Wednesday at 7:00 PM with a focus on prayer for healing.  There is spirit-led worship at the beginning of each gathering, and the first Wednesday of each month is focused primarily on ministering to the Lord in our worship.

For men, there is a Bible study at 6:30 AM each Tuesday in the fellowship room.

The women’s fellowship meets monthly for times of encouragement, connection, and devotion.

For additional opportunities like potlucks, picnics, special teaching events or outreaches, see the EVENTS page.
