We exist to be a living expression and testimony of Jesus' Love and Power.
Our Vision Statement is “Making disciples to reach, heal and change lives.”
We seek to offer our lives to God for use in building His Kingdom, following Jesus’ examples of ministry while ever growing in a personal relationship through God’s Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Mission is to obey the commands of Christ with a servant’s heart by:
- Loving the Lord God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength
- Loving others as He loved
- Worshipping with joy and thanksgiving
- Teaching, discipling, and encouraging
- Equipping believers to receive and use the gifts of the Holy Spirit
- Praying for healing and restoration
- Sharing God’s love with all people
- Working toward the unity of the body of Christ
These are the 6 Core Values on which we founded MCC: We Value ...
1) Christ's Healing Ministry
God is our healer. He heals broken hearts and broken bodies; God invites us to seek him and know him personally as Jehovah Rapha, “The God who heals.”
Isaiah 53:5b. (NIV) “…by his wounds we are healed.”
Exodus 15:26b. (NIV) “…I am the Lord, who heals you.”
2) Spirit-Led Worship
Worship is both an act of our minds and our innermost being. We desire to be filled with the spirit of God, offering our worship as a fragrant offering to the Lord..
Eph. 5:18b-19 (NLT) “…be filled with the Holy Spirit, 19 singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.”
John 4:24 (NLT) “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
3) Rooted in God's Word
We value God’s word to instruct us in His ways, lead us in truth.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
4) The Lord's Table
We come together each Sunday to partake in the Lord’s Supper (communion) in a time of worship, celebration, and giving ourselves more fully to the one who has redeemed us. We believe in an open table that is available to all who profess Christ as Lord and Savior.
Luke 22:19 (ESV) “And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
5) Prayer
We are called to be a prayerful people who seek to communicate (speak and listen) with God in all things, at all times, with gratitude, honor, and faith. Prayer changes things, including our own lives as we connect with the living God who is greater than anything we face in life.
Colossians 4:2 “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;”
6) The Unity of the Spirit
We are called to love each other in ways that go beyond being cordial and pleasant. We are to sacrificially care for each other and if all possible be at peace with one another, strengthening the bond of fellowship in the church.
Ephesians 4:3 (NIV) – “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
