Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at a service?

Our service begins with worship music. Just as there are people here from all denominations and church backgrounds, our music reflects a diversity of styles and genres. You can find examples here.

No matter what your worship style is, just give God your best.

You may hear the sounding of the shofar, a ceremonial instrument. It is a prayer without words (Psalms 150:3). It is mentioned 72 times in the Old and New Testaments and will be blown at the return of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

Communion is offered each week as part of our worship. It is serviced with unleavened bread and wine. We offer Communion to all baptized Christians and those seeking Christ. We let the parents decide when their child is ready to receive Communion.

The children will leave for Children’s Church after worship. They will have the opportunity to receive Communion with you before they leave. See our children’s ministry page for more information.

During our teaching time, you will hear and experience biblically based teachings on God’s Word that you can apply to your life today. MCC Notes will be available in the Worship Guide if you would like to follow along and take notes.

What do I wear?

We invite people to dress how they feel comfortable. For some that means dressing up in a skirt or dress slacks, for others it’s shorts and sandals- year round. Think casual and wear what you want.
